#2. SOLD! Open Reed Distress. Excellent material, very nice color, a tiny bit of character. Fancy turn, unique design. Really handy feel. KO toneboard, easy to use. Great sound as always! $40 SOLD!

#3. SOLD! Enclosed reed distress. This is a second, should work fine, but it's imperfect. Antler is what antler is, so sometimes I don't know what'll come out until I spin it down. The exterior of this call is very nice. But the material has lots of porosity. Had to be sealed in one spot. Appearance is excellent, but it's not as solid as it should be. Call #3 is a #2... $20 SOLD!

If you've ever had a root canal...I have.... you just don't EVER get used to that smell!!! Thankfully after I seal them with penetrating varnish, they smell yummy, like fine furniture... made from bone!
 
The cleaner, whiter (read: more expensive) the material when you turn down into the antler, the less smell there is, and the quicker the smell dissapates. Like I said, antler is what antler is! It's like mining for gold in a box of chocolates... you never know what you gonna get!
