I am going to get another 22-250 and I am torn between a cz 550 and the tikka t3. I like the looks and feel of the cz but I don't know anybody who has one so not sure what to expect for accuracy. I had a tikka a long time ago and it felt cheap but shot very well. so if anybody has a cz 22-250 please chime in.

CZ, i have one and its a tack driver with no modifies done to it.Have approx 1200 rounds down the barrel,no changes

I had both CZ 550 kevlar and also a tikka varmint 22-250. I have only shot the CZ once and it shot good but it weighs a TON compared to my Tikka. I let my buddy hunt with my tikka last year and he ended up talking me into selling him it so now I just have the CZ in 22-250 but I ended up buying a new Tikka superlite 243 from Basspro to replace my one I just sold. If your going to go out and call coyotes and haul it around in the woods I would go with Tikka over the CZ. My Tikka was a tackdriver with the old winchester supreme ballistic tips 40grain I could cover up a 5 shot group with a dime.

It would be a toss up both are great guns. I like the stock on the CZ better but the buttery smooth action of the Tikka and both shoot great.

I'd go with the Savage.

The two things I did'nt like about the Tikka is that the action is the same lenth for the short and long cartridges and the recoil lug is not attached to the barrel. I sold mine and bought a CZ but the Tikka shot very well.

I shoot a cz varmint in 17 remington and don't even notice the weight difference compared to my reminton 223 and ruger 22-250.

I have three CZ's, none in 22-250, and also three Tikka's. I have a Tikka in 22-250 and it's the most accurate gun I own. To me I'd go Tikka hands down, for a user rifle. For the appearance CZ has it, but its just not as comfortable to me. Either way it comes down to what feels good to you. Both guns will shoot exceptionally well.
