Any ideas for mounting a sealed lead acid battery in a Pelican case?

I am building my e-caller and need to mount my sealed lead acid battery into my Pelican 1400 case that I'm using.

Any ideas?

The battery looks like this:

Here's the inside of the case. You can see my switch, audio input and charging plug are mounted to the left side and the amp is mounted in the middle near the handle:

Well, from the pic it's hard to judge the size of the battery compared to the case.
I'd take a piece of aluminum flat stock, bend it around the battery, bend ears on the end and drill through the ears. Then drill a hole through the case to match the ears and put a screw through with a nut on the inside.
But as I said, I can't tell if you've got room to do that from the pic.

There's a ton of room. I'll get a picture of the actual battery in the case and post it up.

I had an older casette call with about the same type of case. The 2 6 volt sealed cell batteries were mounted to gether (end to end) using strips of double sided tape, and then a couple more wide strips to hold it to the inside wall of the case. When I changed the batteries the tape was still holding things snug, yet was easy to pry them out/apart and replace using more double sided tape. Worked very well.

What all are you going to mount in the case, are you going to mount the speaker in the case? If so I would mount them first and then decide where to mount the battery. You could use some Plexiglas or sheet of plastic to make a compartment and glue it into the case and put the battery in it. Velcro might be your best choice though because you are just now building it and you might want to make some changes later and Velcro will allow you to do that without any extra holes or other damage to your case. Is that the CANUK194 - Bridged Stereo Amplifier? I have the CANUK193 - 20 Watt Bridged Audio Amplifier . Are you going to use two speakers with that amp? That will be very loud if you do. What speakers are you going to use.

That's a good eye; yes it is! I am going to mount two of these to the top of the case:

I screwed up and ordered the 8 ohm ones, but that's what I am going to use as I am anxious to get this thing put together. The speakers were on my door when I got home from work tonight, so I'm going to try and mount them this evening!

That is the same speaker that I have. It works really well with my amp. looks like you will have almost the same set up as I do except you have the stereo amp and two speakers. I can use two 9 volt batteries, a 12 volt rechargeable, a 110 volt to 12 volt power adapter ,or a 12 volt cigarette power cord. here are some pics of my call.

I'm using that Speco speaker on a PM-4. It's been calling in critters, too. I've got another one built up with an 8W mono amp, and it's louder than the PM-4 when running off a 12V battery.

Don't worry, that will still be WAY louder than you'll want. Trust me.

That's what I was hoping to hear!

I got the speakers mounted. I am going to get a wing nut for one of the speakers so I can change between having the speakers spaced out 135 degrees or 45 degrees. Here's how it turned out:

135 deg:

45 deg:
