Hey yall I am new to this sight, 20 years old and I live and breath preditor calling, coon hunting, trapping, & fishing in Mid Michigan

I go all over the state of /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowingsmilie.gif Michigan and behond but live in stockbridge 45 minutes out of Ann Arbor. I am always looking for new people to hunt with or whatever. I can't find a hole lot of people that like to spend as much time as i do hunting. Any locals around /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif If so give me a skwall along with your 20

Hey Peashooter, Welcome! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

There are a lot of us Michigan guys on here. For many the season is over until the fur becomes prime again. Thay'll be back again next fall and winter.
For me, the season never ends. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif It just slows down in the summer when I only hunt on farms with livestock where there are predation problems.

Yah I no the seasons are all over but i also hunt with a kill licence off season for many farmers, game ranches, subdivitions (W/ missing cats and small dogs)and whatever hunting I can strum up off season for free.

In fact I am going to be putting alot of business cards all over from brighton to Ann Arbor for animal control. I am not doing it for money but I will probibly make out good. This past year i made $500 in one subdivition of Brighton that paid me after I succesfully hunted/trapped the surrounding feilds for yotes. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Another guy paid me $250 to get rid of the muskrats he had burrowing up in the banks of his backyard cannal that lead to the Huron River. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif One day to trap one day to check. Not bad for having fun!! Hey bet chya the rats will be back in a few weeks...... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif O well. Any how I like to keep my self Ocuppied; if thats how you spell that word /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angry-smiley-055.gif Hey Man got to go, but you keep your stick on the ice. God bless and have fun!!

hello there from oxford, michigan. i'm also new to the forum. i've been visiting the site for some time but just decided to throw my 2 cents in and register a couple of days ago.

Southeastern Michigan here....... we should start a "michigan predator association".

I am in the process of organizing a coyote contest next january along with the support of 'JAYS' let me know if you are interested.

Welcome aboard. I heard some howling this weekend outside of my house at about 10pm saturday. I went outside and listend to them for about 5mins. It was dead calm and cold. Awesome every time I hear them.
Cant wait until next season /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

"There already is a Michigan Club...

go to http://pub39.ezboard.com/bmichiganvarminthunting

isn't that just a website....? or do they actually have meetings and influence/dealings with the DNR?

looks good though.... "

It's just my forum for Michigan predator Callers. Not really a "club" but you do need to know the secret handshake to get in. Most of you fellers are allready over there anyway.

well after all that talk if your still thinking about an assosiation, competitive hunt or whatever I'm in.

By the way I was out in the back 40 plinking around with my .22 when i shot a chipmonk out that only had one "nut", he was missing a ballbearing and it looked as if it was removed only a few days ago. Territorial little terds, chompin eachothers sweets off and all /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif....yeeee, heard they did that but never thought I'd see it first hand!

Just thought I'd share /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was a Michigander years ago Manchester-Grasslake area, no coyotes back then. My buddies tell me things have changed. I am knee deep in coyotes and bobcat here in Texas. Might have to make a trip north and check it out.
