I am looking at getting a Bushnell Legend 3X9 X 50 for my .243 that I have it has an old Redfield fixed 6 on it at the moment but was looking at getting the legend for it to have a little more light gathering. Thanks

I looked at one last nite and they are clear and bright. Not a bad price of around 150.00 bucks on line also. Any one else. Please.

I have 2-7x Banner on my Guide Gun that I have been extremely happy with. For my Rem 700 Varminter I am going to go with the Legend.

I put a Bushnell Legend 5-15x40 Mil-dot on an AR last year. It's been just fine for its intended purposes. IIRC, it does not have Rainguard and the light transmission is around 92%. I got it from Midway on sale for $155. MI VHNTR

I know you asked about the Legend but I have 2 of the 3-9 Trophy scopes with Mil Dots on my 22 rifles and so does 2 of my shooting buddies.
They bought theirs after looking thru mine. I am very happy with them.
One of my other shooting buddies has a Legend. Can't remember what power. It is very clear. I feel the Legend is a step above the Trophy which I am happy with.

Got one in and put on my Marlin XL-7 and have not had a chance to use it mutch. Due to my father in law liked it so mutch he is shooting it for the season. So far he likes it. He said that it has more light gathering then any of his other scopes, and is the clearest scope he has ever used. He has not spent to mutch on scopes so take this for what it is worth. Once I get the gun back from him I will try to do a write up on it like I have done on the Redfeild Evolution. If I ever get the gun back but that is ok also because he is one of my best hunting partners in the world.

Legend scopes are one of the favorites of the air rifle shooters. Springer air rifles eat scopes regularly, and the Legends seem to handle that violent recoil well.
