Any PA hunters participating in the Mosquito Creek Coyote hunt?

Hey, i'm new this forum, and i was wondering if there was anyone from central PA participating in the mosquito creek sportsmen's association yearly coyote hunt which is held feb. 20-22? If there is maybe we can get together and hunt some yote's together...

I am from central Pa as well and I plan on hunting in the contest. hopefully some of this deep snow will melt some by then. good luck!

I am going out for that one, I don't know how far out with all this snow but i'm going. I am in southern Clearfield co. just outside Houtzdale, I am 25 min from Clearfield. If any of you guys want to hook up just let me know. I will be out trying to scout the areas where you can still manage to get far enough off the main road to park with all this snow.

Pa, I am only about 40 min from you, I will be doing my yote huntin anyplace I can get more than 12 inches off the road, which limits the calling areas a lot, I had a lot of good areas nearby, until they plowed them all shut, now I am down to a few good areas, the only bright side is that I have not seen another soul anywhere near these spots YET! maybe we can hook up, let me know.

yea i kno... there's is about 35 inches of snow here and it's a real pain to walk through!!!! i live in yarnell and that's where i plan on doing my yote hunting... i kno they are around... they problem is finding them...

Well I guess I'll be in it again!! I've attended everyone they've ever had. It's amazing to me that you could get that many people to sign up every year. I do think however that a very small amount of the total number actually participates, most just use it as a day to go up to camp and see if it's still in one piece. I'm amazed at the number of kills also, it really has risen in the last three years. My only complaint is that they clump "dogs" and "callers" together, in my opinion it is not fair. A called coyote, few and far between means an awful lot to the guy/gal who spent countless hours in gettin' it done. Oh well, looks like it's time to head to the Coalport/Irvona area and do a little howlin', please lord let this be the night!!

I'm from NW Pa near Corry and planning on hunting the Mosquito Creek contest, way too much snow right now. Looking for tracks

Whitenite,
My camp is down toward the bottom of WYKOFF RUN
and my father in law is retired and live's in
SINNEMAHONING, he said I might not be able to get
into our place for all the snow & ice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif .
Since the Mosquito creek hunt is statewide this
year,I'll probably spend most of the time here in
S.western P.A. where I live, and go up late
saturday night. We have a fair amount of COYOTE'S
between WASHINGTON & GREENE county's, and I'm
keeping tab's on several diffrent animal's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif .

IF YOU SPEAK IN A FOREST, AND NO WOMEN HEAR'S
YOU, DOE'S THAT MEAN YOU'RE STILL WRONG ?????.
