Any results on the PM4's yet?

I'm basically curious as to the remote ranges anybody is getting from these units? Is the sound quality in line with other JS products? How about volume levels?
It's like this, I don't NEED one, but for the price, it might be cool to add a remote unit to the mix. I have pretty good faith in JS products and was using the old 512 unit since long before this site was around, to collect fur.I also have a pair of remote js coxers (attractors) to put to the test now. Then there's my trusty non-remote foxpro with it's eight pre-loaded sounds, and tackle box full of custom and store bought mouth calls. So, I really don't need another caller. Yet the lure of having remote capability is pretty enticing at this price, if these units operate the way I would expect them to.

I have used mine a couple of times, but haven't killed anything yet. It does add a nice dimension if you hunt alone at all to set the caller out and be able to sit way downwind. I did have some trouble getting some sounds to stop last time out. I don't know if the remote is directional or not, but when the antena on the remote was not pointed at the unit it seemed to not respond as well.

The only thing I really don't like about it so far is there is no carry handle. The remote comes with a lanyard, and the remote and speaker and base all connect so a rigid carry handle would have been nice as I could have eliminated the use of a pack then.

I've used mine a couple of times now since receiving it on Wednesday. I've had no real problems with it. All slots play all my cards just fine. One thing I have noticed is that it isn't very loud. I placed it both times at about 75 yards out with the speaker facing to my left as I was looking at it. With the volume cranked all the way up, I could barely hear it across the pasture. Wind was only about 5-8mph. Wasn't really impressed with the volume. Used it for fifteen minutes or so before I broke out the hand calls and called in a pair of coyotes 10 minutes later. Not sure if they were coming because they heard the PM4 or they were able to hear my hand calls. Either way I was able to get one of them.

mine works good has every bit of 100 yard range, had same problem with middle slot but some of my cards worked without a problem, volume seemed plenty loud enough, I'm real satisfied with mine, especially the other 400 or 500$ I still have in my pocket.
