I did a couple,
This one is for my daughter's boyfriend/fiancee. It's a Kali representation, Kali being just one of the multi-weapon (and no-weapon) martial arts that he teaches to SWAT and Spec-Ops types (he's in Britain with the SAS now).
Craft is a start-up security company that he's associated with, involved (I think) with mostly high end "Dignitary Protection" (international diplomat type) training.
This one is a blatant suck-up to get an invitation to shoot at their (not yet completed) training center/shooting facility in NW AZ complete with moving steel "pop-up" rifle targets at extended ranges, and maybe a few tips from world class retired military snipers and pistoleers.
My daughter did this one, (probably) going to a friend/coworker as a Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) present. The pic doesn't show it, but in addition to being a "carved" pumpkin, it's painted in red, green, blue, and black highlights, so it's impressive even in daylight.
I'm so proud, I taught her everything she knows (and I hope to heck she doesn't read this or I'll be in the dog house).
We did these in the "fake" type pumpkins, so the (many) hours of creative labor won't just rot away.
