anybody ever used a vortex venom red dot?

No. The Diamondback is a regular rifle scope.

I have a Vortex Strike Eagle 2 on my shotgun. I like it a lot. It takes the kick fine and has never been knocked out of zero. It’s a bit different design than the Venom though.

I’m not sure if you know this or not, but Vortex has a no questions asked warranty policy. You could take a Vortex product, throw it up against a wall and send it in for repair or replacement, free of charge with no questions asked.

Yes, I had my G34 slide milled to fit this particular sight. It was between this and the Trijicon RMR. Looking through both I preferred the Venom, I'm also using the 3moa dot, as I prefer smaller, thinner lines / dots for precision. I've probably got close to 5K rounds down using the Venom, cases are bangin off the side of the window and leaving some marks, but it's going to happen. I also like the ease of operation using your thumb to turn it on and off, making it a single handed op, the auto brightness feature is how I have mine set up and it's about spot on.
