Anybody have a Anschutz 1450?

Not trying to be a jerk but go shoot the thing, post some pics to. My buddys dad has a Anschutz and the thing is a tack driver needless to say its 1000+ single shot .22, but it was fun to plink around. Some tree rats dissagree i might add.

That's what I figured. I need to get it to the range.

There have been a couple of them sold on Guns America in the $250-350 price range...They do not have the desirability factor of the model 54s....Most were made in the Kadet version as a youth training rifle...

Don't confuse them with the high end Anschutz target rifles that are in the 2-3000$ range.

I have several but think the Feinwerkbau's are better, but still around 3K.

I have one, and it is a great target rifle. After trying several different makes of ammo, found one that consistently gives 5 shot groups of .3 inches at 50 yards. Just can't let a rifle that accurate and cheap to shoot go.

I have one too. I just bought it about 3 months ago. I have not spent an extensive amount of time with it yet at the range but it shows promise. So far it has yet to outshoot my Russian made Izhmash .22 toggle bolt rifle but I am expecting a lot here as the Ruskie gun will ragged hole a 10 shot group at 50 yards.

What kind of ammo are you having the best luck with so far? I have tried little else but bulk ammo in mine to date and I bet that teensy groups are awaiting my cute little gun with the right stuff in it.

I am not going to use expensive match ammo in mine for the occasional trip shooting ground squirrels. If I can tag a squirrel at 100 yards or so with mine every now and then using bulk hollow points then I will ask nothing too much more out of it.

That doesn't mean that I will not be at least trying for a few of them at up to 150 yards though.

It's a [beeep] fine gun. I don't shoot squirrels, since there are not many around Arizona, at least in the desert. Pretty much confined to paper punching at the range. Got mine for $125 20 years ago.
