Anybody know anything about this unit?

This is how the ad reads:

I have a very rare Morovision (N-VEC) RAPTOR M644 Generation 3+ Night Vision Rifle Scope.
This optic is by far the top of the line when it comes to night optics, as used by US Special Operations Forces currently around the world as the primary Night Sniper Optic.
This scope is in "used" condition but functions flawlessly and is still very bright and ultra-vivid!!!
The great part about this optic for anyone using it is the Auto-Gated Iris, this will temporarily dim the optic when any bright lights are encountered and will protect both the optic from damage and the operator from temporary blindness! Another excellent feature is the A.R.M.S. QD Mount, it only takes 5-6 seconds to mount or un-mount this optic to your rifle and the cross-hair will hit "0" every time!

whether you are working security, have home/property security in mind, protecting your ranch from predators or are just looking to do that night time HOG hunt... this is the top choice!

NOTE: this is one of the only RAPTOR optics on the civil market today! It was used overseas for several years on protection contracts! This optic is an I-TAR restricted item and CANNOT be EXPORTED!
Features:
-Hard Body Construction (drop/shock) resistant
-Waterproof (submersible)
-4x zoom
-Detail Focus & eye relief focus
-ultra fine crosshair (red) brightness from 0-10
-Wind/Elevation adjustments by .2moa clicks (turret)
-Day/Night use option
-Nitrogen "Pressure Filled Image Tube" Gen3p, replaceable & repairable!
-Auto-Gated Iris
-A.R.M.S. Quick Disconnect mounts #11 & #19 for any tactical rail
-2x AA batteries offers 50+ hours of constant "ON" use

Take advantage now for a fraction of the cost of new or factory used!

I found the ad.......make sure you look at the pic of the scope really well

When he said USED he meant it......

The company formerly known as NVEC(Night Vision Equipment Company) was aquired by DRS Technologies and is now know as Night Vision Systems. Prior to NVEC it was known as Excalibur Electo-Optics. They are/were a DOD supplier and made several different night vision optics such as the American Eagle and the ENVIS which is still manufactured. All good stuff.

Yes that was some years ago. NVEC sold off most of their I2 NV devices and went with just about all thermal type devices for the Military.

Game warden said I could use night vision in Colorado.

He said I was the only one that could. Said I was *special*. Still not sure what he meant by that.
