Anyone dealt with Morovision for Night Vision?

Hi All,

I've been narrowing down my choice of vendors to purchase a night vision scope from and one of them is a company called Morovision. I was wondering if anyone on here as dealt with them in the past, and if so could you let me know what your opinions are?

I'm specifically considering the MV-740. Although I wanted to do the NV Monocular + EOTech configuration that another member on here posted previously, I ended up deciding to just build a dedicated night-only rifle, so the scope is going to be put on that.

Anyway, if you can give me an opinion if you've dealt with them, or recommend a different choice if you've had good experiences with someone else, I'd sure appreciate the information.

Use TNV who is a sponsor on this site. I did and got great service, great price and lots of personal attention. If you use a scope you will still need a mono night vision unit to spot the game.

Hi All,

I finally got around to purchasing some Night Vision equipment, so I can answer my own question regarding experience with Morivison:

I placed an order through their website for a Generation 2 monocular, model MV-300. They sent me an ITAR form for export control, I filled that out and faxed it back. A day passed following my placement of the order and I hadn't received a shipping confirmation, so I emailed the company to ask what was going on. A rep told me they would have to contact their supplier and that they would get back to me as soon as they knew the disposition of the order. Another day passed, and I pinged them again regarding this. The rep finally got back to me and told me that they couldn't actually ship those units because the manufacturer wouldn't have parts until October 12th. Sigh...

Anyway, I ended up asking them to cancel the order; I tend to expect vendors to ship right away if they accept an order online - if they know a product is out of stock or unavailable, they should probaby indicate that on their website.

I ultimately went with TNV and will write about that in a separate post.

To Morovision's credit - their reps were fairly helpful and they were good about immediately canceling the order. If I had ordered one of the Generation 3 devices from them, the shipping situation might have been different...
