On thanksgiving day me and two of my cousins went out and we sat were a slough branches off teh river and forms an island that is mostly willows. We set and called for about 10 minutes when movement caught my eye and there was a mink runnign along the water line about 15 yards away he then sawm across teh slough and got out of the water about 5 feet from me. I stood up and he ran off but man what a rush!
