+1 on the kick with the big tube. I went out on a limb and got the Baikal version without knowing alot about them. I'm pretty happy so far. Handloading definately helps me get the accuracy I need. I found out quickly, these are field guns, not range guns. The rifle barrel heats up pretty quickly. Mine is 223Rem/12ga. I want to do more patterning with the shotgun and the screw in chokes. I have found several good shooting loads for the 223 from v-max bullets with full strength loads to the Bergers and Varmint Grenades with reduced loads. One inch at 100yds is definately not a problem for my combo. The scope mounts are a set of dovetail grooves, and the gun is quite heavy(which is appreciated when using the 12ga.). The fit and finish are great, although the rifle trigger is not match grade by any means. It just made sense as a predator gun for my terrain. Now I don't have to choose between the rifle and shotgun. Mine was originally purchased for night hunting, but gets the nod for all predator hunting.
