Anyone have or use any of the AB suppressors?

Stopped by a local shop the other day that is fairly new gun shop and archery shop.
Didn't realize until I got there that they also sell Suppressors.
This is a big thing that I want to get this year and they guy that owns the place really talked up the AB suppressors.
I looked at them quite a bit and really like the design of them.
Was curious if any of you all have used them or have them and if so what is your thoughts on them
 
AB is top notch I own 6 Warthogs and 1 Raptor 10 Ring with 5" Reflex ....
I have done some testing recently with my Decibel meter at the bench

My conclusion ..
The warthog 30 cal is the best deal out there....matches the 10 ring Raptor
in performance when fitted with a Rearden Atlas XL rear hub and FPM Precision
Spleen Splitter Dual port break.... for half the price ...

They are Built to last a lifetime
The reflex showed no decibel reduction but rather gas blowback reduced to
nothing on my gas guns in testing.

I also soaked my 5.56 can in boiling water to remove the 22 cal end cap
rockset ..and used it in testing on my 10 ring Raptor and found 1 to 2
decibel reduction only ..
So stick with the 30 cal as it's applicable to most of your varmint rigs...

My conclusion on the reflex is it's a Gimmick....
The lil 5.56 Warthog is sweet especially when fitted with a rear hub and break
and it as you'd imagine a dream on my CZ 22 rimfire bolt guns ...

These cans are a steal and the best kept secret out there

Here is a 30 cal Warthog with mentioned Rearden Atlas XL rear hub and FPM Precision Spleen Splitter Break
I have done this to all my AB Cans ....

line up to display size against other 30 cal cans
RC2 , Maxim Defense PRS, AAC SDN

The RC2 and AAC are boat anchors with regards to weight compared to the
Maxim defense and the Warthog....

Warthog is quietest then the Maxim ...

The Warthog is still a smaller can even with XL hub installed

I talked with the owner down in Florida at Rearden and their new turning center cnc will be delivered and
running in a few weeks and the Atlas XL rear hubs will be available again soon

They are out of stock everywhere literally ...as they are the best out there ..

Quality to set your rifles up for ease of transitioning cans on all of them...

If you are waiting on the tax stamp being gone you will be waiting until next year

Here's my take on the whole Hearing Protection Act I knew it wasn't going to pass from the get go so I watched the bulk of people purchase suppressors and were waiting for the bill to pass figuring they were going to go pick it up in the safe at the local gun store as they were already paid for

Well Fast forward now you have untold Hundreds of thousands or more that now realize it was all a pipe dream


So I feel many of them are not going to wait until next year and are just paying the tax now and submitting them
This is going to create a massive glut and the ATF is not going to be in any rush to get them processed now

Since there was a massive amount of trash talking them while everybody was riding the hopium cloud thinking that this was going to pass
I certainly feel there's a good bit of animosity with the ATF and the public now

I saw the light and decided to make The situation work in my favor last month I went to my local gun store and they had 3 Aero Lahar 30L
on the shelf . I know the owner so I asked him to give me a deal and got em for 500 each
I filled out the forms and had all 3 in my hands in 3 days .

That was last month..
I don't see today being the same

after putting a Reardon Atlas XL on each and running them on my FPM Spleen splitters I cans ay they are superb
a bit heavy but built to last ,,,,great performers on everything so far
 
I saw somebody ask about cleaning them out after rimfire use I will tell you this just put a plug in the muzzle and fill the thing with brake cleaner let it set overnight and then empty it out It don't get no cleaner than that
 
@Shotinthedark , I had 3 paid for and paperwork ready to submit. Waited for the bill to pass and after hearing Jan 1st as a minimum for zero tax, I decided not to wait. Paid the tax and my dealer submitted all to the ATF. Less than 24 hours later I was approved .

Ps. Not ABs.
 
Anyone have problems with the atlas xl and the ab not Mate’n up. Mine won’t screw in freely an I ain’t about to strip my suppressor threads.

Find a bolt/ tap with matching threads, see if it fits well.
Has the gun you are trying to put it on had other threaded devices on it ?

Raptor 10 with 5 reflex is what i have on my 6 saum, it's quiet as any other suppresor, I think the ab raptor for the price is a bargain compared to a lot of other ones, I think the tone of it is more pleasing to my ear if that makes sense
