Anyone Here Using E-Bikes for Bird Hunting? Game-Changer for Me

Just wanted to share a new angle I’ve taken with my bird hunting routine—incorporating an e-bike into the mix. I hunt mostly upland birds and some small game, and using a fat tire electric bike has opened up access to places I used to hike into with a pack. It’s quiet, fast, and doesn’t leave scent trails like walking might. Perfect for early morning spots where you don’t want to spook anything.

I found a guide that really helped me fine-tune my approach:
👉 Birch’s Complete Guide to Bird Hunting
It covers species profiles, gear suggestions, and even terrain selection. Worth a read if you’re looking to try new strategies this season.

Anyone else using bikes in your hunts? I’d love to see how others transport decoys, shotguns, or game on two (or three) wheels. Also curious if anyone’s built out bike trailers or rifle mounts—definitely something I’m considering.

Haha! I just told my brother last night someone could probably make a mint renting out e-bikes to hunters up here in the PNW. I’d much rather these 7-9 miles I’m putting in daily be riding miles vs boot leather!!

I'm LE and work in a high-end Golf Retirement community.

In the last several months I've been GIVEN FOR FREE three e-bikes, including a Addmotor M-360 which costs close to 3K.

All are in excellent condition. I took two of the bikes to my hunt camp and kept the trike (Addmotor) here with me as I'm going to see if I can attach the upper third portion of a tree stand to it to make a mobile hunting trike.
