Anyone hunt with Lehigh Defense projectiles?

Hey guys, who here has tried any of Lehigh Defense' controlled chaos bullets/loaded ammo? Doesn't matter the caliber I would just like to know if anyone has any experience with them. Researching their bullets, I would assume they'd be deadly on just about anything. Might make an awesome coyote bullet in the smaller calibers. I tried the 45gr .224 in my 22-250 but they obviously wouldn't stabilize in my 12 twist savage.

I used the 45 gr 224 in my AR for a while. They worked great but I ended up going back to nbt bullets because the lehighs always over penetrate and I felt a little better knowing the Noslers were more fragile

What did the exit wounds look like? I'm assuming they were lethal, yes?

I bet they worked wonders on deer! I sure do think they make cool bullets. I'm looking forward to testing the 28 grainers out of my .204

I've tested them some. You've got several very lightweight petals spinning out and a caliber diameter wadcutter. Shot some stuff, gave up and went back to controlled mushrooming bullets for game I care about.

Fair enough. What works, works! Lead free bullets interest me. Not sure why but they have ever since I started getting into hand loading.

Barnes ttsx. Most bullets are 'deadly', that alone doesn't make them good or a good choice for game. It depends on what youre hunting.

I've hunted deer with the 145gr Brass Controlled Chaos for the last 2 years out of a 30-06. I've been getting great accuracy out of them with groups in the 1/2" range out of my Pre-War Model 70. I've also loaded the 300gr fracturing bullets in the 45-70 and .458 WM but have not taken any game with them yet. The subsonic fracturing bullets are pretty cool to, I shot a milk jug full of water and got the center exit with several petal cuts in the back of the jug.

I was able to get two deer with them, the first was a 70 yard lung shot. Deer ran approximately 40 yards (it was being driven so it's adrenaline was up) but left an easy to follow blood trail. When we skinned it there was a caliber sized entry and exit but the ribs on the far side had a 3" circle of blood shot area where the petals passed through the lungs and stopped.

The other one was a less than ideal shot, deer was about to cross into my no shoot zone and when it stepped into the 10 yard opening I swung and ended up clipping the top of the spine. I consider it the magic bullet because there was a semi circle on the top of the vertebrae with a 1" hole in the top of the rib cage. No exit but the lungs were shredded and it bled out in a few minutes.

I just picked up an 18" AR Upper in .223 since we are finally allowed to use semis, I'm going to try for coyotes using the 62gr copper chaos. I haven't used this bullet before but based on the ones I've used and the YouTube videos I've seen it should work well.
