Dirt hole sets will work for cats with a #2 or #3. Gland lure or urine will work. If you can get a rabbit and tear up some of fur and place it in the hole and scatter a little hair around that will also work. A whole mouse in the hole would be good bait too. Cats often need a sight attractant since their smell is not as accute as a coyote or fox. That is why the rabbit fur works well. You can also hang a feather by a thread over the trap. The feather moving in the breeze will get the cats attention and bring it close enough to smell the bait.
