Anyone own the T/C Venture Predator? Seems fairly new to the market and cheap prices range from out state 499 to 650$. Tried google searching it on here but not much comes up. I would like to hear anyone's take on the rifle in the .22-250. Thanks!

I own the TC Icon in 243w. Mechanically, they are very similar to the Venture, though the Icon has a full length aluminum bedding block.

These rifle shoot as advertised, with most of my loads going MOA or better. My coyote load is a 55gr Btip @ 3,900fps and about 1/2" groups, while my deer load is an 80gr Barnes TTSX @ 3,300fps and shoots about the same.

I've owned it since January and am very pleased with the accuracy.

i have the thompson center venture predator but in a 204 and i really like it but also i am fairly new to guns but super accurate but i dont like the three round clip and since it is fairly new i havent found anyone to make a bigger magazine yet.

I have one in 223 and love it. It has been very accurate with several loads. I have had mine for about 6 months. Probably have 200 rounds down the pipe.

Thompson Center had a recall on the regular Venture rifles last year...I'm not sure if the Predator model was affected or not.
Might want to check into that before you buy one.

I've got one in .223 and it's an absolute tack driver with light bullets. It LOVES 40gr and 50gr loads. It is completely average with 55's and forget about anything heavier. I was hoping to use a generous supply of Federal 69gr GMM Match King ammo that I have. It actually key holes at 100yds! The 1-12 barrel just wont stabilize the long slugs. That being said the rifle is extremely accurate with the light pills. It routinely prints 1/2moa groups including a cold bore shot with Nosler 40gr factory ammo.

I'm also looking really hard at this gun and would be interested in hearing from anyone that has a T/C Venture predator in .243 caliber? I'm looking at the .243 because it would double as a deer rifle for my son.
