Certainly for the hunter that likes filming their exploits it's hard going on your own and demands lugging extra gear and the need to have a remote caller and decoy to divert the attention from the cameramanshooter.
The reduced abitity to utilize the zoom is a negative and the most important aspect of these cameras will be how well the Predator appears on the footage @ some distance out.
The best footage is when you can zoom in and capture their expressions at those moments of truth. I've had some disappointment viewing footage of a great calling session only to have failed to zoom in enough to make the footage worthwhile.
I have recently ordered a couple of very inexpensive cameras that I intend to use as POV cameras to complement my tripod mounted HD handicam. So keen to see how well they work out. One being a camera within a pair of glasses that will give the same view as the LID CAM and the other a small spy cam I intend to place on the FOXPRO.
Time will tell as to their value but at less than $80 inc SD cards and shipping its worth a try.
