The Wedge only removes up and down play, but does not help side to side wobble, the tape takes all the play out.
I just had to try this and yesterday I did. It works.
I know the wiggle doesn't make any difference in accuracy. I just don't like it. Real rifles aren't supposed to wiggle in the middle.
