Okay, first off let me start by saying that I am not one to ever go cheap on Optics. I can't afford to spend $1500 on a scope, but $1000.00 is within budget. Well, I jsut picked up a new CZ rifle (thanks camopaint) and I was looking for an illuminated reticle scope with a 30mm main tube. A friend recommended the new Millet and I was floored at the price. It's a MILLET TRS-1 TACTICAL ILLUMINATED 4-16x50 MilDot. It has a 30mm main tube and is multi coated. Retail is $550 or something like that, and I was able to snag one on Gunbroker for half that new. So.........anyone wanna tell me I screwed up, or I did good, LOL. Keep in mind, I have pretty bad eyes, and I do 90% of my hunting at night.

Here's a review of the scope from another site. MI VHNTR

Yes, I have one I purchased from midway and I think there on sale again for about 230.00ish

The scope is very stout and repeatable. Only distraction is the glass. It gets a little glim after about 10X but its not bad. Overall a great scope for the money, the green reticle is great at night!

If I had 1k probly would have done a nightforce !
