Anyone use the Burris Eliminator at Night?

I was wondering it this system has performed good for anyone night hunting for the predators?

Burris Eliminator III sure looks like fun for the day, but haven't been able to find any reviews of how it performs at night on the web yet.

got a chance to zero one for a friend, didn't play with it at night, was thinking it would be great, but it is not compatible with NV either clip on front (laser won't work ) or PVS14 rear as the recital in not NV capable

I talked a buddy's wife in to getting him an Eliminator III for Christmas for the express purpose of night hunting. He just got an R25 in .243 last week and hasn't gotten it sighted in yet, but we will soon. I'll write up a report. May even shoot it at his range at night so I can get back to you quicker, since our yotes are so few and far between, many of you may die of old age before I can get an actual field report.

Well, I have an interim report. We got my buddy's EIII 3-12x sighted in and programmed. I'm impressed so far. It has 1/8 MOA adjustments. Ranging is quick and accurate, and calculated bullet drop jibes with the ballistics of his load. Haven't used it at night with a light yet, but it works fine at dusk/dark in low ambient light conditions. The glass is better than expected, comparable to my Burris Fullfield LRS2 4.5-16x's. I see no reason why it wouldn't work at night with a light. The only downside I can see is that it is one massive scope and probably pretty heavy, though not noticably so on his R25.

Hopefully we'll take it out hunting this weekend. I suspect those 600 yard "sitters" are now in a lot of trouble. I'll keep you posted.

I've been very interested in this scope as well. I'm gonna mainly night hunt as well and not sure which way I want to go on scope. Been disappointed with the ATN X-Sight and it's out of the box problems :-(

JJDu4, I gotta tell you, most of the "catch and release" nocturnal coyotes I've observed over the years are due to misestimation of range and holdover, not because they're scared of the light. I think depth perception is diminished at night. Plus, most of the places I hunt are huge wide open pastures with no landmarks to range ahead of time.
