Do they make any sorta gun lock or rack for a suv? When traveling I haven't found many cases that will allow a bipod for my .223 and .22-250. I just dont want to bend the legs or scratch anything up.

+1 I carry mine in my range bag.

For short term transportation, and depending on the firearm, usually I can get mine in a tactical soft side case like THIS one...It holds my.308, 700 SPS .223, or .204 AR with a bipod nicely....

However, if you are interested in a more secure method, you can obtain one of the racks that we used to use in our patrol vehicles HERE even though they are a little expensive...

If its just like a Harris type bipod you can take it off and put it on pretty quick. Change out the Allen head screw with Large serated head 10 -24 thumb screw. No tools required.
I would nt use an attached bipod for hunting so speed isn't an issue for me though.

Take a look at boyt cases. Their varmint case will allow you to keep the bi-pod on. I have one and it is nice. They are not the cheapest soft case but worth every penny. They have a lifetime warrenty.

I bought one of these by recommendation from Tim N. I used it last week to carry two scoped rifles each with a harris bi-pod and could still zip it closed.

The owner, Tim T is a regular member here and is wonderful to deal with and has fast shipping too.

All the AR15 style gun cases allow you to carry the rifle w/bipod on, just make sure you get the longer ones. Thats all I use for my rigs w/bipods.
