AR-15 build/caliber question? Is a 250 Savage possible?

Is it possible to have one built in 250 Savage (250-3000)??
I have always loved this caliber and wondered if an AR in this caliber is possible. I am not a gunsmith/builder, so forgive me if my question seems stupid. I know that T/C does not offer it in their Contender pistol due to pressure issues but hey, just wondering. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

The .250 Savage case is too long for the magazine on an AR-15. It could be done on an AR-10.

savage, an AR will take about any saami cartridge available pressurewise, the limiting factor for them is the mag length. the AR-15 is a 223 length action, the AR-10 will accept anything up to 300 wsm length and there are custon actions, based on the AR design for the 30-06 length cartridges and another that accepts the 338 lapua mag cartridge.
The 250 would havta be on a 308 length or AR-10 action.
