AR guys, got a question

Since I use a no name e-mail address I can't post on ar-15.com and ask them so here you go. I was wondering if anyone made a colapsable 4 or 6 position butt stock that worked on carbon 15's? I should get one in in a day or two but wanted to see if anyone knew of a problem with them not meshing. The guy at the local gun shop told me that it wouldn't work. I thought the carbon 15 lower was built to mil spec? Thanks for the help. Ted
 
Well I don't think so but I might be wrong. Does your buffer tube screw into the reciever? The collapsable stock works on it's own buffer tube and unless you can get screw one into your reciever it won't work.

As for mil spec, well let's not get carried away, from their catalog: "We have modified the recievers so that conventional AR15 type components will interchange with the carbon 15 line. We have incorporated superior quality Bushmaster bolts, barrel extensions, hammers, triggers and other lower reciever parts into our carbon 15 firearms line"

I'd give them a call or check out their website for a definitive answer.

ar15.com would not accept my Yahoo email either. It called it an 'anonymous' email account or something like that. I used the email account that comes with my ISP provider(ie alltel.net) which is who you pay for your internet through.
