Area 419 arca clamp to tripod

I spent a couple of hours today making a plate so I can fit a area 419 arca clamp to my tripod. It may take a second or two longer to tighten but it’s much more solid and secure than the quick release lever plate.
If anyone is thinking of buying a new ball head the Sunwayfoto IB 65 is worth looking at, I’ve had mine a few months now, and yes, it’s not in the RRS league but it’s built like a tank, works flawlessly and locks up solid.

Those are very nice arca adapters. I have a few pieces of from 419, barricade stop, cleaning rod holder, ARCALOCK clamps, full length 14" that interfaces with my PRS1 from Manners (my favorite piece) so I can slide my rifle forward or back with an immense amount of offset for stabilization in a variety of shooting positions. Great choice.
