Armalite scope mount

Cool. I saw that, didn't know if it was the same thing. Spendy little bugger. I take it that it'll work with the rail used by the Bushmaster v-match flat-top?

Yeah, will work with any picatinny / weaver type AR flat-top. Actually moves scope forward more than rings would--helps eye relief!

If you have a front sight check to see if it will clear, I use a 2x7 scope and on low power my front sight was visable in the scope picture.
I went to a B-square mount made for Colt it's about 3/8" higher just enough to get a clear picture. But if you don't have a front sight the armalite is well worth the cash.

No front sight to clear, it's milled off. I was looking at the B-Square mounts. They are half the price of the Armalite mounts (I also noticed ASA had a mount similar is style and price to the Armalite) and look like they can be flipped around backwards for even more eye relief.

Almost forgot, get on auction arms and serch flat top mount, they have one on there that looks sturdy enough to park a truck on for $50.00. But it is the high rise version. Might be worth a look.

TOM64,
Theres nothing wrong with the B-square. I have that same mount on my Bushmaster. I am very picky about what goes on my AR-s. Money has never really been an issue as far as parts or barrels go.

That having been said, the B-Square is still on my Bushmaster. Here is a picture of the mount on the Bushmaster.

Just my opinion as always.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif -MP

Mike paul your right there's nothing wrong with the B-square mount, it works and even returns to zero. What I should have said was the Armalite mount is built to be more sturdy as are the other two I found on auction arms. Just think they could've filled in the gap on the risers and put two bolts to lock into the flat top instead of one roll pin.
