Having a hard time making up my mind. Looking at an Armasight Zeus 640 75mm or IR Defense MK II or III 35mm or REPR. I already have a Pulsar HD19A for scanning. I have tested the Armasight on a few hunts and it was nice. Was able to drop 4 hogs and a fox with it. Any suggestions? Which is better?

I have an ir defense 35mm mk2 and I love the scope. I don't have any experience with the armasight. If you can, rent the ir from someone and make the decision based on your own experiences.

I love products made in the USA and the ENTIRE line of IR Defense is entirely MADE IN THE USA. Not just assembled this or that, but the entire line.

I've been to their facility in Sacramento California several times and have seen their entire production line and their CNC machines along with their electrical stations that fabricate their components. It's a great American company making great American products.

I can tell you when you handle each device the IRD will stand out for build & image quality. I personally love the controls, fast & easy especially when it is sub zero. IMO once you start investing thousands all the little things matter, and in my experience IRD has done the best job in delivering that, not to mention their innovation in the past few years has been unmatched.

I currently own flir and armasight, I would not recommend armasight due to customer service experience I have had with them, Flir has been outstanding customer service and I have heard IR Hunter will stand behind the product as well. A lot of money to gamble on poor service. I have learned the hard way with armasight. Having 99 people out of 100 tell you that they have not had a problem means nothing, especially if that 1 out of 100 is you

. No reason for not having 100% customer service.

We have put the zeus 640 and the ir hunter mk2 side by side. My money goes on ird without a doubt. Only thing the zeus is better is focusing on something at full power. Don't worry about that as the ird is still very good and we never use full power unless a long ways a way to try to save steps on an ID. For hunting the mk2 is a great tool
