arp 12.5 mid barrel

I am looking at this barrel it looks like a nice barrel for a good price but it is a mid gas length. I am worried that a mid length gas system is going to be a bit long for a 12.5 barrel. Have any of you shot a 12.5 inch barrel with a mid gas system.

I've read carbine is best for 14.5" and shorter. Midlength 16-18", Rifle 18"+. No experience with a midlength 12.5" so it might work. Or go 11.5" and use a Daniel Defense, BCM, or many other quality barrels.

I run a Faxon 11.5 mid length and it works fine..

Ive got a 12.5 ARP barrel in 6.8 that runs flawless and very accurate.

Just got email from company and they do not have anymore and want to sub a bcm but charge another 80 dollars. I really did not want a 7 twist though.

Aztech armory took care of it they are sending me a bcm 12.5 barrel for same price of 154.00. good group to deal with
