artificial light on decoy

some decoys have lights on them to use them at night.

Has anyone already shot a predator stupid enough to run to a lighted decoy ?

id like to use one also if there is not much moon shine but im not sure if it makes any sense ?

I have Foxpro fox jack on my shockwave and don't use the led light as it's not natural. I would think the predators are gonna see your decoys regardless if it's lit or not.

Same hear. Have never used it at night. Someone would have to tell me it really worked before I was tempted to try it. Sometimes I think it almost doesn't help to have one going at night at least during this last couple of months.

Here's a couple fox that had no problem coming into a lit up decoy. We use the LED on the decoy virtually every time we night hunt... We use white light and hunt public ground.

Great video with that being said do you get coyotes to come into a lit up set. I can see a grey come in to a light but around our area I think a coyote may laugh....

Had to try it since the light was on it. Don't even use the decoy most of the time but in Foxpros defence i called in and killed a coyote with the light on right after i bought the Fusion last season.

As always think outside the box, don't be afraid to try something new !

Interesting to know, I am always afraid to try mine.

I've had a double charge my call and run it over with the decoy light on, so I don't think it bothers 100% of them.

I haven't used it since, maybe I should. Only really used it that one time when I first got it.

Foxes - Red or Grey

Dumb as heII! Is it really even "sport" to shoot Dumb Fox?

Coyotes, not so much!

I will try it in a few weeks when I go out again, I have the Shockwave with the lighted decoy. I may put some electrical tape over the light and make a small incision in it only to let out a small amount of light.

Stay posted!!
