ATF Form 4 wait time?

I finally pulled the trigger on a suppressor. So far I've heard everything from 5 months to 10 month wait time. Has anyone actually been through this in the recent past? If so what was the actual wait time?

I submitted my form on May 3rd 2012 and they cashed my check a few days later and I received my stamp the 31st of October. I would plan on 7 months and hope for 6.

5 to 6 months... I should be getting another one approved in a month. Depends on who your slow examiner is.

What did you get? My favorite one is a Thunderbeast 30p-1.

I just got mine in the mail about a month ago. It was 7 months and 2 days from when I sent it in. And like stated. They cashed my check in three days.. LOL.. I would just forget about it and then when the store calls to come get your suppressor it likes Christmas.

I bought a Gemtech Trek. I was almost overwhelmed with info on suppressors. I didn't know my butt from my elbow about them so I was flying blind. I bought it for my coyote gun Colt AR but also recently purchased a SW MP 15-22 with a 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel. Hope to introduce it to some tulip bulb thieving squirrels as soon as they approve suppressors for hunting. If you can call that hunting.

When the tree rats invade the flowers I always get permission told to eradicate said pests.

My favorite 22 cal can that I own is a Spectre II. I will soon be getting a Thunderbeast 22L-1 all Ti can as I like it even more.

Once you get one you will need more.

7 months on my .22 suppressor last year........

I am expecting a 7 month wait again for my YHM 762 Ti......submitted last August

BTW....my .22 is the Gemtech Outback IID with all titanium baffles....extremely light if anyone is shopping. Easy to clean also.

I sent mine in November 21st and they cashed my check yesterday. My SOT said they have been coming in right at the 7 month mark.

I went "pending" on Aug. 29. My dreams have already been shattered...

Technically no, but actually there was this past year....at least for me. They changed some things so I had some extra back and forth with them in the past year (using trust) that did not occur in years past.

In the telephone exchange with the person there at BATF (assistant examiner I believe is what she called herself) it was clear they were swamped. They had added assistant positions like hers though to try to decrease the wait time and backlog.
