ATN Scopes

Just picked up a used 3x9x55LU Illuminated rifle scope. Bought it for $150.00. They list on ATN's website for $549.00. Are they any good? Mine has the BDC with cams and would like to put it on my Savage 204. Thanks for the feedback.
 
ATN = Another Tacticool Nightmare, If your going to use it on a 204 it should hold zero if it has not had the guts ratteled to much by the prior owner. The one I used to own shot fine for the first fifty rounds of 308 then started loseing zero overnight sent it back got fixed in ninety days got another fifty rounds out of it before it shot apart again. With scopes you pretty much get what you pay for.
 
I think that Blinddog reflects my thoughts of the ATN line of scopes. If you are looking for a functioning tacticool then look elsewhere. I know of 1 person that likes his ATN and it is their top of the line scope if there is such a thing. I don't know of any PD or LEO agency or military unit that would field the ATN's, there are alot of better choices in that genre. For a hunting scope on a .204 you might be in luck. But there is a reason that you got a "$549" scope for that price. I had an older model that had crappy glass and I finnaly gave it away to a guy at the range that I didn't even know. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
