I see they dropping prices quite a bit for these thermals. Checked on Amazon and they are 3654$ new now..Any idea what going on for the price drop. Dan

That's a darn good price. I like that the controls are just like my 4K Pro. I am familiar with them. Wish the 4x base one was on sale too. That's the one I'd buy.

Today an Italian who has a wooden furniture industry called me. He has a thermal riflescope Atn 640 2.5-25X, the previous version to Thor 4. For the second time he sent it for a warranty intervention. Has the problem of calibrating the reticle. When he digitally moves it to the POI, he does not memorize the setting of 0. He wants to abandon Atn and switch to Pulsar. So an armory expert recommended him. He asked for advice, because he says that 2.5x minimum optical magnification ... is little for him. If you use the 5x digital zoom the image already starts to become pixelated. I recommended the Pulsar Trail 2 XQ50 LRF which has a minimum optical magnification of 3.5x; new highly sensitive 384x288 sensor with NETD

January I got a refurbished Thor 4 2-8. Saved alot of money. The scope I got was like new with the full three years warranty. I even did trade in of an Thor LT. I got all my money back out of the Thor LT. I own an 4K 5X20 for 2 years with no problems. I also have a 4K 3X14, a Sight II and a pair of BinoX-4K. They all work. The key to anything you buy is reading the manual. If anyone who owns a 4K and need help I host a ATN Facebook self-help group. (PM me)
