attractor scents

Do any of you coyote callers ever use an attractor scent when calling? If so, what product do you use and how well does it work for you? Thanks, Barlow

I take a shower.
I still remember a guy that worked in a fish factory. He planned to coat himself with fish. Can't remember hearing back from him.
Save your money.

I like to use Hornady 40 grain V-Max. They seem to love the aroma, some keep coming back for more !

I also use scent free soap, shampoo, deodorant & wash my hunting clothes in Arm & Hammer baking soda. Have even shot some downwind of me. They usually have a funny look on their face too

I don't worry about shower'n, leave my clothes in an old deer or cow carcass, {which ever or want ever I can find} wipe down good with skunk urine, before I put on my clothes. i am then ready to hunt. this is only to be used after October, because of buzzards. by far best attractor I have found.

When they figure out how to eliminate your breath and still be able to hunt I may buy into that secret. Until then there's really no such thing as an effective cover scent.

If I see fresh cow manure I step in it with both feet... May throw out sum vapor from an E cig...

sometimes I hit my decoy topper with a quick spritz of coyote urine but can't say that I've been able to determine any measurable difference. You asked about an 'attractor' not cover scent........that being said I don't really believe either work but I do think a man might gain an extra second of a shooting window by having an extra scent that serves as a distractor.
for the life of me I cant remember if its spelled distracter or dis tractor over here pulls real nice.

I never have and probably never will so I do not have anything to contribute. However...

Has anyone ever seen that coyote bomb, like the buck bomb scents & made by the same people? I laughed when I saw it at Cabelas, haven't seen a single review or field report of it other than it smells like a dead body.

An Attractor sent will only go down wind of where you put it. The attractor sent will be going in the same direction your scent is going.

Predators can be 10 feet from a powerful scent but if they are on the upwind side of the scent they can't smell it.

When you are calling predators the sounds that you put out go out in all directions unless the wind is blowing really hard. The sounds that you are using to call with will travel much farther than the scent of an attractor scent.

While trapping predators and using attractor scents it can take days and up to a week or two to catch a animal.
