Just wondered what the host here thinks of the value of baby bird sounds as a tool for calling? Armed with my Nady 351 I have made some recordings on the MP3 player, so I got it figured out. I have a Bluebird house in the back yard, set the mic. up and got some fair sounds this weekend. Once they nest, the babies set up a racket each time mom or dad shows up, could slip the mic. in the box and get that recorded. Species that coyotes and bobcats are around naturally would seem to be just what the Dr. ordered.
As a newbe to all this, I am just trying to get set up and learn from all you guys.
I also have a friend that raises quail commercially, could get any number or type of sounds there. Wondered if would be worth the effort?
