Backbored vs standard bore shotgun

Looking to upgrade my current coyote shotgun and am wondering if a back bored gun would be better?

Most new shotguns have a modest and appropriate backbore. It won't normally hurt anything and often offers some slight advantages.

The sad thing is only the pattern board will tell the truth.

Buy the gun you want regardless of backboring or tightness of barrel. Then put a load together that works with it. Personal preference is against backbored shotguns but not a deal breaker.

Back boring is really aimed more at fixed choke guns. With all the chokes available for current guns I doubt you would see a huge benefit.
