Backpack style rifle sling

Now that I've got my suppressor I'm looking for a better way to carry them in the field. By the time you put a bipod and suppressor on even my lightest shortest rifles they become cumbersome to carry. The back pack style sling would appear at first glance to be the best fix here. Just curious which ones are everybody using?

This is a homemade one out of two in expensive padded nylon slings and QD sling swivels. I do have a safety loop on th top swivel that slides over the end of the barrel if the swivel should release by accident.

After reading a few reviews across the net I'm going to add here that I wear a 3 XL shirt, sounds like guys with a keg instead of a six pack have problems with the backpack style slings fitting comfortably.

I've been using one for a few years. I'll see if i can find a pic. It leaves both hands free and the gun will never slip of your shoulder and hit the ground. Its nice.

Considerations especially since you mentioned a bipod. The standard sling swivel positions put the bipod hardware right between your shoulder blades. That gets uncomfortable about 10 seconds before you actually put the rifle on. A 2nd set mounted on the left puts the flat of your rifle there, works well. If i had a really expensive stock id think about it, but if i wasnt planning on selling the gun id not worry about it. Even without the bipod its more comfortable sitting sideways than the normal position.

I've also done connecting points with paracord for rifles that i didn't want to drill. They work just as well as long as you do a good job wrapping.

Fairchase, look at the outlaw sling. NOS is a sponsor on here they sell them on their website and Tim is a good guy to deal with.
