Bad luck!!!!

I too had a little bad luck today. I finally got a snowmachine today and while riding it back from skwentna it siezed up on me! I don't think it will be too hard to fix but the real heartache was when 2 miles down the trail while I was being towed by my buddy we happened on a set of wolf tracks that ran along the trail for about 200 yards and turned off up a small river, these tracks were smoking fresh, probably only a few minutes ahead of us. Then about 12 miles further along a fresh set of fox tracks. If I had a working sled I think I would have at least got a chance at one of them.

What slue or creek? I leave Friday morning with .223 and foxpro for the cabin up in that area. 3day's of callin! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I took my engine apart today and found out the one piston/cylinder was blown. I am going to have both of them bored out tomorrow and hopefully back together and running by this weekend or early next week if possible. I saw the wolf tracks right on the yetna just below the yetna station. I couldn't even tell you what creek the fox tracks ran down, cause I don't know its name. It was really nice cause of all the nice fresh snow that fell saterday night, lots of great tracking snow for sunday morning. Good luck up there, not a lot of sign but what you find will probably be fresh.
