AS nvsage said most Badgers are not that hard to catch. They have a real attraction to a dirt hole set. In many cases it is a waiting game. It is not uncommon for them to take long knaps ( 7-30 days ) during fur season

Any foothold capable of holding a coyote will have no problem keeping a Badger at the location.

Use two long stakes and cross stake. Never know what direction they will dig in and they will dig after being caught. Make sure you carry a long handle to clean up after the catch.

Badgers do not prime here in Nebraska until late December and January.
