Ballistic Advantage barrel experience?

Who has had BA barrels? I bought a 6mm ARc barrel, bore scope showed some kind of corrosion, looked like finish flaking off. Second / replacement one is straight up nasty dark and rough. I thought they were supposed to be a decent moderate priced option. All my mcgowens, dtechs, pacnors are all smoother and clean. Attached is a pic of the second barrel after 45 min of cleaning it.

I have several ballistic advantage barrels and they all shoot really well. I don't have a bore scope, but I don't think you can really compare them to premium barrel makers like Mcgowen, Shilen and Pacnor. My 20" 6 arc BA barrel shoots 1/2-3/4 MOA and it is still improving as it wears in. The 12.5" grendel post I made a few months ago was a BA barrel as well and it shoots just as well.

It looked is like you've bought a used barrel. If it's new I'd send the picks to BA for their comments.
 
Nope that's normal for their barrels. Everyone that I've bought had to go back. They had no problem correcting the issues with each one, but it got old sending them back so I just don't buy their barrels anymore.

What are you alls favorite Barrel Brands?

Looking to possibly upgrade my 16" 300BO PSA barrel with something a little better. Put this together for my daughter a deer rifle and it shoots ok but nothing steller. about 1-1/2 MOA at 100 yards with 125 gr Sierra 125 rounds. The round and gr weight I want to stick with just because she is...
