Ballistics Table - 30-06 Factor Ammo

I'm looking for any sights that have ballstics tables for factory ammo. Specifically I'm looking for 30 06.

I had found one at one time but the computer it was on got fried. I've never been able to find it since.

So now I'm back looking - anyone have any that they have marked. If so - can you post the links.

Those are, even where they exist, only going to give rough estimates of muzzle velocities. You can see as much as 200 fps or more muzzle velocity difference among various rifles with the same factory load.

Pretty much every factory load recipe (other than match loads) are loaded to get the most velocity from the particular bullet being used. They do this because they don't want the competition making more speed than they are getting.

You can actually just look at the max charge listed in the Speer manual (Speer uses realistic 22" factory rifles in most cases for their testing), and take that velocity and it'll be within 50 fps (I would bet) of what you'll see the factory hunting loads doing (with the same weight bullet).

That'll get you more than close enough to make a drop chart out to 600 yards, which is farther than 99.997% of factory ammo can hold even 2 MOA... so that should suffice.
