Barnes MPG

What do you guys think about using the Barnes MPG's in a .308 win for wolves. I wan something that isn't going to rip it a new a**hole out the other side and figured these or some other fragmented bullit might do the trick. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The 140 TTSX worked very nice on a bobcat for me out of the 7mm08. I'd imagine a 150 MRX or TTSX or even the 130 grain TSX .308 would work great for you on killing wolves.

will the triple shocks pass right through the wolf in 308

I would sure think so. They pass through all deer and elk I've seen shot with them in 270-300 win mag.

Thats what i am trying to minimze with the 308 is pelt damage. Reason for asking about the fragmented bullet

I'll take a tiny entrance hole with a quarter size exit hole from a deer sized caliber. If you want frangible, you will make a mess most if not all the time. Good luck!

Thanks for the input 204. Something I am going to have to try, and see how bad it is..
