I might use an ER Shaw barrel if I was to build a 50-100 yard max, rifle, and they paid me. I had them install one on an action for me, chambered in 270. You could hit an elk with it at. It would hold honest groups around 2" at 100 yards with reloads. I had the hardest time getting the copper out of it. I got rid of that rifle because it just plain should have shot better with the money I paid them. I ended up hating that rifle. I had a $39.99 Turkish Mauser that out shot it.
I'd rather buy a factory rifle, instead of dealing with them again. Maybe they are better now, maybe I'll win the lottery, or date Jessica Simpson too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
