There are TONS of great optics for $200-300. Just keep to the name brands.I'm a big fan of Nikon BuckMaster line of scopes. They are way clear and track well. Bushnell Elite are in there, Weaver classics, etc. just go to Optics planet and use their filter for price range. Just don't bother with the off brands.
