This is a true tragedy. It is also the reason you carry EVERY time you go into the mountains. All of it is bear country. Very unfortunate.

The attack was on Chilhowee Mountain, and The bear killed one little girl and seriously injuried her Mother and her 2 yr old brother.

I see quite a few bears around that area every year. Mostly while deer hunting or driving the roads.

I usaully call in that very same area where the attacks occurred.
