Bed Liner Stock coating

I was a-strollin through wally world the other day and noticed several different types of roll on and spray on bed liner products. Being as I own a Stevens 200 with a more than ugly stock I got to thinking about how it would look textured with bed liner and perhaps painted another color if necessary. Anyone ever do this? If so post up some pics please. One thing might be concerned about is how the material acts in contact with the stock material. I'm thinking very hard about doing this.

I painted my Rem. Mod. 37 22LR target rifle with Automotive High temp Crinkle paint. Worked great, made for a good grip.

I've painted two stocks with the spray on bed liner from Walmartone was a Savage plastic stock and the other a B&C stock. The finish is mostly bubbly smooth. Not rough at all. I did 3 coats, then primer, then camo paint. It takes paint very well. I have some pics somewhere...
