I have done many bedding jobs with devcon. Recently my gunsmith buddy suggested marine tex because that's what "all the winners" use (His words not mine). So I tried it. It is good stuff. Seems just as easy to use as devcon. Cost is similar. I would think either one will stick to any material stock you would use it on with proper prep work. I have previously bedded the action and the 20MOA rail both. Now I usually don't fool with the rail but could still be beneficial.
