I have done a bunch of rifles with JB Weld. I pillar bed with 3/8's stainless tubing and use spray on canola oil for a release agent. My rifles are going good with some 10 or more years old bed jobs and heavy recoil. I use the slow cure and twist the action screws at 4 hours to make sure they are loose and break any bond on them. Make sure everything is really sprayed so you do not have to take the action out with a hatchet! lol
