bench rest

I think it worked great at the range yesterday,, i´ll get my pic from there up here soon. My misgivings on the stability in the rear part of the bench were not true, i really enjoyed shooting that bench,, we have to take her out any day again soon.

Great bench for level ground.

Make one with two legs in front and one off set at the back.
Three legged bench will set solid just about anywhere.

Looks good!

Here is my favorite. On rough terrain, I want three legs. Do you remember HS geometry? "Three points define a plane."

I am going to build another like this one; however, it is going to be 4" longer. I can use more space.

The top is 1" birch plywood. Legs are 3/4" black pipe.

Shooting benches are like women, we all have our preferences.

I have a small one like yours claimbuster but I am thinking about building a solid one in the back yard. I just hate draging it out then putting it away.

When you are not using the table for shooting, do you just loosen the clamps and take the table off for projects around the house. Multifunction use, cool.

That was the initial thought but he screwed it stuck,, and we got a second thought when we were to transport it to the range

but i guess thats just another good excuse to the Mrs. to get another car 4x4 pickup
